Vodacom, in partnership with the e-waste management industry, invites applications for the E-Waste Management Learnership Programme 2025 / 2026. This programme is designed for passionate young South Africans who are interested in environmental sustainability and want to build a career in e-waste recycling.
If you're an unemployed youth from Gauteng looking to gain hands-on experience and technical skills in the green economy, this is your opportunity to learn directly from professionals and make a difference.
What the Programme Offers
- Stipend: Monthly allowance provided throughout the programme.
- Practical Training: Hands-on work experience at an e-waste company in Gauteng.
- Duration: 12-month fixed-term learnership contract.
- Mentorship: Guided by industry experts to enhance both technical and soft skills.
- Certification: Receive industry-recognised training in e-waste management.
Who Should Apply?
To qualify, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Age: 18 to 35 years old
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) with Maths or Maths Literacy and Science
- Citizenship: South African citizen with a valid ID
- Location: Reside in Gauteng Province (must provide proof of residence)
- Employment Status: Currently unemployed and not studying or enrolled in any other learnership
- Background: Must come from a disadvantaged background
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a good team player
