About the Internship
SYSPRO is offering a Support Internship Programme for 2025, designed for individuals passionate about technical support and software troubleshooting. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in evaluating, troubleshooting, and resolving software-related issues, while working closely with the software development team and regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Intern, you will:
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve faults and reported technical issues.
- Work closely with the software development team and regional offices to ensure service delivery and issue resolution.
- Provide specialist technical support related to software development, system documentation, software installations, and upgrades.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (NQF 4 equivalent)
- Mathematics: 60% or higher
- Mathematical Literacy: 80% or higher
- Relevant Support Certifications (advantageous)
Preferred Knowledge
Experience or familiarity with the following will be beneficial:
- SYSPRO Architecture and ERP Systems
- .NET User Controls, VBScript, C#
- SYSPRO Reporting Services, e.net Solutions
- Microsoft SQL Server, SYSPRO Workflow, Espresso
- Software installations, upgrades, and customizations
- Development principles & infrastructure-related issues (Windows & Servers)
- Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, Wyn Reporting
Skills Required
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Well-organized with the ability to manage tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
