Job Description

SAPS is offering Trainee Internships to motivated and disciplined individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in law enforcement. This internship provides an opportunity to receive professional training, develop key policing skills, and contribute to the safety and security of communities across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in structured training programs, including classroom and field training.
Assist in crime prevention, investigations, and law enforcement operations.
Support administrative and operational functions within SAPS units.
Work alongside experienced police officers to learn about public safety, law enforcement, and criminal justice.
Engage with the community to promote crime awareness and prevention.

Requirements

Must be a South African citizen.
Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
Must have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent.
No criminal record (Candidates will undergo background verification).
Medically, physically, and mentally fit (Medical assessment required).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
