Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be considered for the SABC Internship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education:
    • A National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, IT, Marketing, Finance, etc.).
  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Passion for media, broadcasting, and digital content creation.
    • Strong communication and writing skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced media environment.
    • Basic knowledge of social media, video production, or news reporting (advantageous).
    • Proficiency in MS Office, digital platforms, and content management systems is an advantage.
    • A strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Work Authorization: Must be a South African citizen or hold valid work authorization.
  • Availability: Willing to commit to the full 12- to 24-month internship program.
