About the Internship Programme

The New Development Bank (NDB), established by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS), is committed to mobilizing resources for infrastructure and sustainable development projects in emerging markets and developing countries (EMDCs).

As part of its commitment to talent development, NDB is offering internship opportunities to young talents from member countries to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Interns will be assigned to various Departments and Divisions based on:

  • The Bank’s needs
  • Their field of study
  • Their motivation and career aspirations

Under the leadership and guidance of experienced professionals, interns will receive valuable on-the-job learning and exposure.

Who Should Apply?

To be eligible for the NDB Internship Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of an NDB member country (Brazil, Russia, India, China, or South Africa).
  • Age: Not older than 30 years at the time of application.

Education:

  • Currently studying (or planning to enroll) in a full-time graduate/postgraduate programme OR
  • Recently graduated (within the last 12 months).
    Field of Study: Must be pursuing a degree related to NDB’s business activities, including:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Law
  • Business Administration
  • Human Resources
  • Environmental Science
  • Social Sciences
  • Or other relevant fields.
    Work Experience: No more than 1 year of prior work experience.
    Language: Fluency in English is required.
    Availability: Must be able to work full-time during the internship.
