Momentum invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the Momentum Learnership Opportunities 2026. This learnership is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their skills, gain valuable workplace experience, and build a strong foundation within an industry-leading health and financial services business.If you are a motivated self-starter with a passion for client service and personal growth, this opportunity will enable you to combine structured learning with practical, on-the-job experience at Momentum Health.The learnership will run for a fixed-term period and provides participants with exposure to real workplace environments while working towards a recognised qualification.
Successful learners will be required to:
- Attend classroom-based learning sessions and participate in practical on-the-job training
- Perform duties in line with the Learnership requirements as prescribed by Momentum Metropolitan
- Gain knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures
- Compile and maintain a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to the relevant SETA
- Complete work-based learning logbooks accurately and timeously
- Complete all formative and summative assessments and achieve the required standards
- Demonstrate competence in using company systems and understanding operational processes
- Conduct themselves professionally as employees of Momentum Metropolitan and uphold Momentum Group values
- Successfully pass the EISA examination
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Mathematics passed with at least 40% or Mathematical Literacy passed with at least 60%
- English and one other South African language passed with a minimum of 50%
- Computer literacy (advantageous)
- Must be unemployed and able to commit to a 12-month learnership programme
- South African citizen aged between 18 and 30 years
- Available for the full programme period (01 February 2026 to 31 January 2027)
- Able to commute to the workplace independently
- Not currently studying (part-time or full-time) at a tertiary institution
- Must not have previously completed the same learnership
