About the Opportunity
The Moses Kotane Research Institute (MKRI) is seeking unemployed graduates to assist with data collection for research projects across various district municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal. This is an opportunity to gain valuable research experience while contributing to evidence-based studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door data collection following research protocols.
- Gather data through surveys, personal and telephonic interviews.
- Capture data in the MKRI prescribed format.
- Maintain data quality standards to ensure research integrity.
- Adhere to ethical and professional research guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 18 – 35 years
- Education: NQF 6 – 8 qualification (Diploma/Degree/Postgraduate)
- Skills: Computer literacy & ability to operate a mobile device
- Language: Proficient in English and IsiZulu
- Equipment: Must own a working smartphone
Additional Advantages
- Driver’s license (Code 08/10)
- NQF 8 qualification for better research understanding
