About Fly Fofa Aviation Training
Fly Fofa Aviation Training is offering exciting training opportunities for unemployed youth in Gauteng Province. This full-time training programme provides accommodation and a monthly stipend, helping young South Africans kick-start their aviation careers.

Advanced Pilot Training

- Overview: This programme helps Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders build more flying hours, increasing their employability in the aviation industry.
- Duration: 24 months (Includes accommodation and monthly stipend)
- Requirements:
- South African citizen
- Under 25 years old
- Residing in Gauteng
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Valid Aviation Medical Certificate
- Requirements:
Initial Cabin Crew Training
- Overview: Prepares candidates to become certified flight attendants, meeting SACAA regulations. Graduates can apply to local and international airlines.
- Duration: 12 weeks (Includes accommodation and monthly stipend)
- Requirements:
- South African citizen
- 18 – 23 years old
- Residing in Gauteng
- Completed Grade 12 with Level 5 in English
- Minimum height: 1.6m
- Willing to undergo an Aviation Medical Examination
- Highly motivated, safety-oriented, and culturally sensitive
- Requirements:
Remote Pilot (Drone) Certificate
- Overview: Teaches candidates to become certified drone pilots, covering regulations, safe flying, and hands-on practice.
- Duration: 12 weeks (Includes accommodation and monthly stipend)
- Requirements:
- South African citizen
- 18 – 23 years old
- Residing in Gauteng
- Completed Grade 12 with Level 5 in English
- Level 4 in Mathematics & Level 5 in Mathematical Literacy
- People with disabilities encouraged to apply
- Willing to undergo an Aviation Medical Examination
- Good communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Great hand-eye coordination and multitasking ability
- Requirements:
Private to Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Overview: This course takes candidates from Private Pilot License (PPL) to Commercial Pilot License (CPL), including Night Rating, Instrument Rating, and Hour Building.
- Duration: 24 months (Includes accommodation and monthly stipend)
- Requirements:
- South African citizen
- 17 – 23 years old
- Residing in Gauteng
- Completed Grade 12 with:
- Level 5 in English
- Level 5 in Mathematics (Physical Science is an advantage)
- Qualifies for a Class II Aviation Medical
- Good communication, decision-making, and multitasking skills
- Great hand-eye coordination, safety-oriented, and culturally sensitive
