This initiative, led by business in collaboration with government, is designed to tackle youth unemployment by creating meaningful work opportunities across various sectors.
Through the FEM YES Internship Programme, we aim to empower young South Africans by equipping them with essential workplace skills and experience over a 12-month period. Successful candidates will gain hands-on exposure in professional environments that can significantly enhance their chances of securing long-term employment after completing the programme.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a valid South African ID
- Possess a Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Be unemployed at the time of application
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Belong to a designated group as per South African employment equity guidelines
