Citi South Africa is offering a 4-week paid Winter Vacation Internship Programme based in Johannesburg. This internship is open to Undergraduate, Honours, and Masters students, providing an immersive experience in Citi’s Investment Banking business area.
Whether or not you have previous exposure to the financial industry, this internship is your gateway to understanding what a career at Citi can offer. Exceptional interns may be considered for placement in Citi’s full-time graduate or analyst programmes, which include extensive training and the opportunity to earn globally recognised qualifications.
As a Winter Vacation Intern at Citi South Africa, your responsibilities will include:
- Gaining hands-on work experience in the Investment Banking division.
- Developing a solid understanding of Citi’s diverse financial services and products.
- Learning to build financial models and create corporate finance solutions for clients.
- Conducting industry research and analysis to support tailored advisory services.
- Participating in client development initiatives, contributing to Citi’s mission of delivering exceptional client service and innovative financial strategies.
We are looking for dynamic, driven, and curious individuals with:
- A strong academic record (Matric and University).
- A keen interest in financial markets, business trends, and current affairs.
- A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
