Airlink is looking for dynamic, customer-focused, and professional Flight Attendants to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and exceptional service of our passengers while maintaining Airlink’s high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew members on board.
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate safety procedures.
- Provide excellent in-flight service, including food and beverage distribution.
- Handle passenger inquiries and resolve any concerns professionally.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including young children and elderly individuals.
- Adhere to Airlink’s policies, procedures, and aviation regulations.
- Manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the airline’s brand image.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Valid Cabin Crew License (SACAA-approved).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to meet the medical and fitness requirements for the role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to swim unaided.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant or in a customer service role.
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures in aviation.
