As a Customer Support Intern, you will:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Carry out technical and administrative support activities related to service operations.
- Manage and process incoming customer orders and requests.
- Perform order administration and maintain accurate client records in the system.
- Escalate complex issues to qualified Service Technicians or Engineers.
- Collaborate with customers and internal sales teams to resolve queries and clarify orders.
- Assist in resolving technical and commercial problems.
- Provide pre- and post-sales support on technical products and customer solutions.
- Support the Area Service Manager with resource planning tasks.
To qualify for the Siemens YES Internship, you must:
- Have Grade 12 / Matric.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be currently unemployed and between the ages of 18–34.
- Have excellent communication skills and remain calm in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
- Be able to meet deadlines and multitask efficiently.
- Be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Show initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and professionalism.
