The Citi Graduate Learnership Programme runs for 12 months, offering structured training, mentorship, and work exposure in Market Operations. During the programme, you will:
- Gain practical experience through hands-on work
- Be exposed to different business functions and Citi’s global culture
- Receive financial sponsorship for a relevant postgraduate qualification
- Become eligible to apply for permanent roles during the programme
- Undergo a detailed interview and onboarding process
- Be placed in the Market Operations division
- Learn Citi’s systems, tools, and processes
- Work closely with teams on local and global operations
- Develop core skills in analytics, communication, and problem-solving
- Collaborate on impactful projects that influence Citi’s operations in South Africa and beyond
To qualify for the Citi South Africa Graduate Internship Programme, you must:
- Hold an undergraduate degree with a minimum 65% GPA
- Have a background in any discipline (Preference for Maths, Science, Engineering, or Data-related fields)
- Have 0–1 year of work experience
- Demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
