EThekwini Municipality is inviting applications from unemployed South African graduates and students who require workplace experience to join its Internship Programme 2026 / 2027. This programme offers participants the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience, strengthen occupational skills, and apply their academic knowledge in a professional local government environment.The internship aims to support youth development, enhance employability, and contribute to building a skilled workforce that supports effective municipal service delivery.
Successful applicants will be appointed for the following periods:
- Up to 24 months – University graduates
- Up to 18 months – TVET graduates who have completed the required N6 qualification and practical training requirements
Successful interns will have the opportunity to:
