The University of South Africa (UNISA) is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its 2025 Internship Programme. Internship positions are open across various provinces and disciplines, including:
Gauteng:
- HR Education Internship (Bachelor of Education/PGCE) – Locations: Kokosi, Mmakau, Lentheng, Soshanguve, Witbank
- IT Internship (Diploma/BSc in IT, Computing, Mathematics, Computer Science) – Locations: Kokosi, Mmakau, Lentheng, Soshanguve, Witbank
KwaZulu-Natal:
- HR Education Internship – Locations: uMzinyathi, Amajuba, Khanyanjalo, Tugela Ferry, Emawusheni, Masakhuxolo
- IT Internship – Locations: uMzinyathi, Amajuba, Khanyanjalo, Tugela Ferry, Emawusheni, Masakhuxolo
Other Provinces (Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape & Free State):

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the UNISA Internship Programme 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Completed an NQF Level 6, 7, or higher qualification through UNISA in a relevant field (e.g., Bachelor of Education, PGCE, IT-related qualifications)
- 35 years or younger
- No previous formal work experience in the field
- Must not have participated in an internship at UNISA or any other organization before
