Non-Technical Learnerships
- Finance & Accounting
- Human Resources (HR) & Administration
- Supply Chain & Logistics
- IT & Data Analytics
- Environmental Management & Safety
Learners will participate in a structured training programme that includes:
- Attending theoretical classroom training at accredited training centers
- Gaining hands-on workplace experience at Eskom facilities
- Assisting in daily operations and technical tasks under supervision
- Learning Eskom’s safety protocols, policies, and compliance requirements
- Completing practical assessments and training modules
- Working closely with mentors and senior professionals
- South African citizenship
- A Matric Certificate (Grade 12) with:
- Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- Physical Science
- English proficiency
- Alternatively, a completed N3, N4, or NCV qualification in a relevant technical field for technical learnerships
- A strong interest in the energy and engineering sector
- Good problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Willingness to work in various Eskom operational sites
- Candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
- Learnerships take place at Eskom training centers and power stations across South Africa, with theoretical training in Johannesburg.
- Successful learners may have an opportunity for further studies or employment within Eskom upon completion.
