The Mamelodi Sundowns Internship Programme is an exciting opportunity for young professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic sports environment, learning the inner workings of a top football club.
- Assist in sports management, administration, and event planning.
- Support the marketing and branding team with promotions and fan engagement.
- Work with media and communications to develop content for social media and press releases.
- Assist in data analysis and performance tracking for players and club operations.
- Support the medical and sports science team with fitness, nutrition, and injury prevention programs.
- Participate in sponsorship and partnership development initiatives.
- Engage with the community through club outreach programs and development projects.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must have a National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Sports Management
- Marketing
- Media and Communications
- Business Administration
- Public Relations
- Event Management
- Sports Science or Physiotherapy
- Finance or Accounting
- Passion for football and the sports industry.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and match days.
- Knowledge of South African football and club operations is an advantage.
- Duration: 6 to 12 months, depending on the internship category.
- Stipend: A monthly stipend will be provided per club policy.
