AVBOB, in partnership with INSETA, invites motivated and enthusiastic South African youth to apply for the Long-Term Insurance Learnership Programme 2026. This is a 12-month structured work-based learning programme designed to combine theoretical training through an accredited training provider with practical workplace experience.The learnership leads to a registered qualification in the insurance sector, providing learners with valuable skills, industry exposure, and a solid foundation for a future career in insurance.A monthly stipend will be paid to successful learners for the full duration of the learnership.
- Participate in structured theoretical training related to Long-Term Insurance
- Gain practical, hands-on workplace experience at AVBOB
- Complete assessments and assignments as required by the learnership programme
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a willingness to learn
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate with English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy or Accounting
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- No previous learnerships completed
- Not registered with any other academic institution and not engaged in other studies
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, Internet) will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Must be a South African citizen
