Description

AVBOB, in partnership with INSETA, invites motivated and enthusiastic South African youth to apply for the Long-Term Insurance Learnership Programme 2026. This is a 12-month structured work-based learning programme designed to combine theoretical training through an accredited training provider with practical workplace experience.The learnership leads to a registered qualification in the insurance sector, providing learners with valuable skills, industry exposure, and a solid foundation for a future career in insurance.A monthly stipend will be paid to successful learners for the full duration of the learnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in structured theoretical training related to Long-Term Insurance
  • Gain practical, hands-on workplace experience at AVBOB
  • Complete assessments and assignments as required by the learnership programme
  • Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a willingness to learn
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate with English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy or Accounting
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years
  • No previous learnerships completed
  • Not registered with any other academic institution and not engaged in other studies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, Internet) will be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Must be a South African citizen
