Unilever is offering exciting Learnership Opportunities for 2026 at its Boksburg operations. This structured programme is designed to equip unemployed learners with practical and theoretical skills in automated packaging operations, while upholding the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and sustainability.Learners will gain hands-on experience in production line operations, develop mechanical maintenance knowledge, strengthen business understanding, and enhance communication skills required for effective line coordination and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general production line operations and cleaning activities according to operational plans.
- Conduct pre-start-up inspections to ensure equipment readiness, cleanliness, and safety in line with SOPs.
- Monitor product and packaging quality against established standards and report faults immediately.
- Identify process abnormalities and implement corrective actions to prevent escalation.
- Clean machinery in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and site specifications.
- Prepare, verify, and handle raw materials for production use.
- Maintain personal and team safety at all times on the production line.
- Support eco-efficient practices and contribute to a sustainable work environment.
- Fulfil all learnership requirements, including assessments, assignments, and logbook completion.
Minimum Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 / Matric) with passes in Mathematics and Science
- N2 / N3 / N4 Engineering qualification
