The programme aims to provide valuable work experience, practical exposure, and skills development in fields aligned with the Department’s core business.Successful applicants will be placed in various directorates within the Department, depending on their qualifications and the needs of each unit.

To be considered, applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African graduates or postgraduates.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in one of the listed fields.
- Not have previously participated in any internship programme.
- Be 35 years old or younger.
- Complete a Z83 Application Form (Downloadable via the Department’s website).
- Attach a recently updated CV.
- Clearly state the Reference Number, Position, and Centre on the Z83 form.
Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit certified copies of their ID, qualifications, and academic transcripts.
