Job Description

The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is offering a 24-month internship programme for unemployed graduates and individuals seeking practical work experience in their field of study. This programme is designed to provide hands-on industry exposure, allowing interns to apply theoretical knowledge and enhance their employability in the labour market.

Successful candidates will work under experienced professionals, gaining valuable workplace skills and industry knowledge across various departments within CIDB.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this internship, applicants must:

  • Be a South African Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid SA Identity Document.
  • Hold a relevant qualification in one of the specified fields below.
  • Be available for a 24-month full-time internship.

Internal Audit Internship

  • Qualification: BCom Internal Audit or National Diploma in Auditing

IT Internship

  • Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology

Financial Accounting Internship

  • Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (NQF 6 and above)

Legal Services Internship

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Human Resources Internship

  • Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management/Development
