The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) invites unemployed South African graduates and TVET students to apply for its Internship and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programmes for the 2025/2026 to 2026/2027 financial years.
These internships are designed to provide hands-on work experience and practical training in a real-world environment, helping graduates and students gain the necessary exposure in their respective fields of study.
1. University Graduate Internships (Degree or National Diploma)
Locations: Pretoria (Head Office), Makhanda, Polokwane, Pietermaritzburg, Grahamstown, Kimberley, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, and others.
Fields include:
- Public Management
- Industrial Psychology
- Security Management
- Strategy Management
- Accounting / Business Management
- Human Resource Management
- Archives and Records Management
- Labour Relations / LLB
- Transformation (Social Work)
- Public Administration
- Finance
- Systems Development / Software Engineering
- Information Technology (Desktop / Technical / Application / Communication Support)
2. TVET College Internships (N6 Certificate Holders)
Locations: Across multiple provinces including Pretoria, Nelspruit, Mmabatho, Polokwane, Mthatha, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, and Johannesburg.
Fields include:
- Human Resource Management
- Finance
- Public Administration / Management
- Fleet Management
- Legal Affairs
- Asset Forfeiture Unit
- Human Resource Development
- Sexual Offences and Community Affairs

- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have no criminal record or pending cases
- Must be unemployed and not previously part of the NPA internship programme
- Must reside in the province where the internship is advertised
